PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown’s custom public area mural program, Urban Narratives, tells the neighborhood story from within a five-block radius of the hotel property. The series of mural compositions draws inspiration from three distinct areas of local interest - architecture, transportation, and graffiti. In effect, each mural design is a mash-up of custom and archival photography with custom graphic design, stitched together digitally to create the resulting dynamic images. Local Atlanta artists and photographers created all of the artistic components that went into each mural composition, which adds another layer of relevance to the local story.
