PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This urban hotel renovation gave Canvas the opportunity to completely transform the hotel’s completely refreshed public spaces with a reimagined contemporary art collection comprised of original works by local and regional artists in a diverse variety of artistic mediums. Riffing on the tension created by combining elements from Minnesota's rural and urban characteristics, more than 70 pieces of new and original abstract and contemporary artworks adorn the newly renovated spaces, more than half of them by Minnesota artists, creating a subtle connection to the community.
